Is this a "real" real estate purchase, or something else?

Yes. You buy a real home with your own agent and lender — not through Joynt — and you have real equity. With Joynt Pro, an LLC holds the property and each owner’s share is documented in the Operating Agreement.

This is a typical real estate purchase — just not one made through Joynt. You and your group will work with your own real estate agent and lender to buy the home you choose. You own real equity in the home, like any other property. Once you've made the purchase, Joynt steps in to help you manage co-ownership.

With Joynt Pro, Joynt helps you form an LLC that holds the property, and each owner is a member with their share documented in the Operating Agreement.
